Me and my wife had only 24 hours to be out of our Horth Hollywood home for the new tenants, first thing I did was go on the internet and found a company called inside moves and I spoke to the owner ted cotter. He then asked me some questions to get some idea on how much it would cost to move our home. I explained to him we don't have much time and we need to be out within 24 hours. Ted suggested he would be willing to come to our home and give a estimate and he said he will see what he can do as far as coming up with 6 crew members the last minute! so we gave him the green light and everything worked out and we had our home empty by sunset. Me and my wife want to give a special thanks to ted cotter and the professional crew he had sent to us on such short notice. thanks!

We hired the right company! We had a small job so we chose to be the second job of the day. The movers arrived a little late because the first job took longer than expected. No problem - because these guys were pros. They quickly and carefully loaded our items into the truck. They made a stop along the way to drop off a couch at a friends house (just a $10 extra fee for fuel). Unloading at the destination went well. No items damaged. Professional and very courteous. I hired this company based on reviews on Yahoo and also by checking their website (which has loads of information for someone planning a move). I don't think you can go wrong with Inside Moves. When we had a glitch here (we woke up in the morning to find that the city was repaving the streets that led to our house), it was easy to reach the owner to update him on the situation, and he provided us with the phone number to stay in touch with the crew who would arrive at our house later in the day. That crew kept in touch with us - we knew they were running late, so we weren't sitting at home wondering where they were. This company does big moves and small moves. I've found a gem of a moving company.

I moved recently and was fortunate enough to use inside moves. the movers were very experienced, caring and helpful. they kept moving things until i was satisfied. nothing i asked was too much. they made my moving experience a wonderful one and saw to it that i was satisfied in every way. such nice people i highly recommend them. they were also very reasonably priced.

Inside Moves would like to thank Bruce and Kristin for trusting Allan's referral on their recent move. This was a 2 day move, the first day was Kristen to her new apartment Valley Village to Valley Village fairly easy move Kristen bought the boys lunch and her spirits were great the whole move. Toby and Danny even short one man kicked butt and by the time Emilio and I got there to help for the most part they were done.
The next day was Bruce's turn, Bruce's move was more difficult because he had a third floor carry up. ( This means the apartment was on the third floor and the crew was carrying the stuff up 2 flights of stairs, good cardio workout if it doesn't kill you).

Bruce had more stuff so we ran a three man crew which I joined later in the day. Bruce also had a huge custom made entertainment center that when put together takes up 16ft of wall. The main piece was 8×8x2.5ft. Bruce had the center cut down in an effort to make it fit in the stairway, it didn't. The alternate plan was to hoist the piece up the back and over the balcony. I had checked this option prior to the move and it was not a good one as power poles that ran along the backside of the building had lines that stool 3 ft off the building a directly in the way.

The next option was to flip the entertainment unit on top of the box of the moving truck and hoist it avoiding the power lines. We got lucky and the lines were cable not power so we padded the ET unit, padded the lines, padded the balcony edge and while the guys on the bottom lifted the unit with help of Bruce we pulled it up the side of the building. The first attempt one end got caught under the line and a bow and arrow reaction occurred as I shouted the guys on the bottom to lower the piece the second attempt was a success. If it wasn't for Bruce reach (he got about 2ft more than us short guys at the top) it would have been tough.

This project started out many months ago as the biggest job of the year. Inside moves relocated a large ranch in Malibu to several storage facilities. Thanks to Calabasas Storage for the referral and to Kelly, Samantha and Bob M. for staying with the crew for several days of marathon moving.

The estimate started out almost $40,000 in moving costs, Kelly and Samantha quickly surround themselves with the best in the business. From professional movers, packers to one of the best estate sales people I’ve ever seen, this guy had great buyers and liquidated lots of good stuff.

The first walk through there was the main house, staff quarters, exercise room, tack room 10 oversea containers and 3 sun rooms of goods. About 16-18 truckloads plus packing. Next walk through the job had been narrowed down to 12-13 truckloads, by move date we ended up with 10 truckloads.

Imagine how the customer felt when they bill was under $16,000. Whose your favorite mover now? Kelly assured me we would also be helping them with their upcoming December move as well. We're Here AND READY TO GO!

Inside Moves thanks Elaina for her last minute move from the Mountain View Estates. 6 bedroom house was moved by a 7 man crew in record time beating the bid by $1500.00. Guest appearance by the owner (me) helped the job go a little better. My guys like to see if I can still keep up with crew. Elaina was very happy with the price as well as the great job. You and your crew unloaded my pod for me in Tarzana a few weeks ago. I appreciated your small business sense of customer service, and your quick response to my request for an estimate. I was particularly impressed that you drove out to look at the available locations for placing the pod at my townhouse community while I was still at work during the day in El Segundo.

Your established relationship with the local PODS warehouse, and your willingness to deal with them directly to coordinate drop-off and pick-up times to avoid the wrath of the townhomes HOA, made my move much easier. Even the little things, like setting up a place for your crew to wipe their feet since it was raining outside, and sticking around after the pod was empty to set up the beds and reposition some furniture for me, spoke well of your customer service attitude.

Thanks for getting me moved into my new home. I'd happily serve as a reference for Inside Moves.

Local move Northridge to Westlake - on the lake. Inside Moves moved Karl and Tracey from Northridge to Westlake. Karl and Tracey were very impressed by the crews non stop action and team effort. At the end of a long day they were moved into their new temporary home, Karl asked me if they could call us back in 3-4 months when they purchased the new home.
